Silver Winner, Branded Content: Little Heroes League 2021 Impact Video

Little Heroes League works with doctors and hospitals to support families caring for medically-complex children by helping to coordinate care plans and reduce the frequency of appointments and hospital visits. Our video team helped them explain their organization’s mission and powerfully show the impact of these services through a combination of motion graphics animation and scripted interview content.

“Little Heroes League is an organization that is near and dear to our hearts,” says Yakkety Yak VP of Production Megan McDonough. “Finding ways to help potential donors visualize their incredible impact through memorable graphics was such a joy. Our amazing team of producers, editors, and motion graphics artists care deeply about helping organizations like this one connect with potential donors through strong visuals that tell stories that resonate.”

The award-winning video pairs dynamic motion graphics with program footage to help viewers visualize the work Little Heroes League does to support medically complex babies and understand the incredible impact their work has on the families they support.

Our work with Little Heroes League earned a Silver Award in Branded Content – Charitable from the 43rd Annual Telly Awards.

Bronze Winner, Non-Broadcast: The Poetry Foundation & LYNX Project Amplify Series 2020-21 Commissions Concert

The Poetry Foundation and the LYNX Project co-sponsored the 2020-21 Commissions Concert, which featured pre-recorded musical performances interpreting work by a variety of neurodiverse writers, followed by a live Q&A with the writers, composers and performers. Our video team helped produce the virtual event for the Poetry Foundation, including graphic design considerations for readability as well as ASL interpretation, captioning and verbal visual descriptions for accessibility.

“As a team, we were so inspired by the brilliance behind the work of these young poets,” says Yakkety Yak Director of Video Production Jason Hamidi. “We’d like to thank everyone from the poets, their families and performers to the Poetry Foundation and LYNX for their incredible trust and collaboration on this project.”

Our work on the Project Amplify Series 2020-21 Commissions Concert video was named a Bronze Winner in Non-Broadcast – Diversity & Inclusion
