And the Yakkety Yak Gives Back Winner Is…

We are thrilled to announce the 2021 Yakkety Yak Gives Back Grant Recipients

Each year, Yakkety Yak chooses a local organization to support through our very own marketing grant fondly known as Yakkety Yak Gives Back. Through this program, our team provides real, in-the-trenches marketing support to a local nonprofit for an entire year. It’s an employee-driven initiative that is deeply important to the culture of our company.

This year we received a record number of applications. Choosing one winner wasn’t easy. But given the state of the world right now, the amount of grief stemming directly from the COVID-19 pandemic, and the impact that the circumstances of the pandemic has had on our children, a frontrunner emerged.

And with that, we would like to offer our heartfelt congratulations to Rainbows for All Children, the 2021 recipient of our Yakkety Yak Gives Back grant. Rainbows is dedicated to being the premier source of support for all youth as they navigate grief and heal from loss, whether from death, divorce, deployment or other trauma.

Yakkety Yak Gives Back 2021 Winners

They are amazing. The truth is, though, that this year we wanted to do more…much more.

The entire company voted and we decided to offer two additional project-based grants. That means two other Chicago-area nonprofits that are dedicated to healing and equity will receive dedicated support from our team in an effort to help them reach their goals in 2021. Learn all about secondary grant recipients Lauri S. Bauer Foundation for Sudden Loss and Working Together Chicago to discover how they are making a difference in the Chicago area and beyond.

Yakkety Yak is dedicated to supporting the nonprofit community and YYGB is just one way for us to do our part. This is going to be a big year of service for our team. We look forward to working to support the missions of these amazing organizations.

Until next time!
