We’re joining forces with mission-driven multimedia video production company Kindred Content, expanding our video services
Big news from the Yak Pak to kick off the year. We are thrilled to announce the acquisition of Kindred Content, a purpose-driven, woman-led, Chicago-based video production agency.
And we are freaking out of our minds excited.
“Content has always been at the core of Yakkety Yak’s services,” says Founder and CEO of Yakkety Yak Ashley Logan. “Now, we have the opportunity to elevate our storytelling through enhanced video channels, we can hardly contain ourselves! The added bonus is that our teams have so much mutual respect from working together over the years.”
With this expansion, we take Yakkety Yak’s video services to new heights. We are adding a dedicated team for documentary, live action production, motion graphics, animation, still photography and podcast production, focusing on bringing our clients impactful fundraising video campaigns and corporate social responsibility content.
A History of Kick-Ass Collaboration
Over the years, we have had the privilege of collaborating with Kindred Content, and knew that our aligned values and services were complementary.
Let’s just say, we know a good partnership when we see one.
“Kindred Content and Yakkety Yak have always created content that makes you feel, do and imagine through the art of storytelling,” says Florence Ann Romano, former CEO of Kindred Content. “Our collaborations of the past sparked something within Ashley and me. We knew we had met our other half!”
Better Together
In addition to welcoming Florence Ann Romano to the Yak Pak as our VP of Business Strategy, we are excited to welcome aboard Lindsay Swift as our Director of Operations, Megan McDonough as our Director of Video Production, Emily Waters as our Content Producer and Claire Johnson as our Video Editor. Founded in 2013 by Florence Ann Romano, Kindred Content has worked with AT&T, AIG, Pyrex, and Binny’s Beverage Depot. Committed to corporate social responsibility, Kindred Content also completed projects for nonprofits like Lurie Children’s Hospital, Share Our Spare, the Poetry Foundation, Little Heroes League, Pillars Community Health, Lincoln Park Community Service and Children’s Research Fund, to name a few. Now, under the Yakkety Yak umbrella, we will offer the same level of expertise to more brands and businesses around the country.
A Future of Multimedia Storytelling
There’s no doubting the power of video marketing to appeal to and convert customers. In fact, more than 50% of consumers prefer video content to other forms of content such as email, social media and blog posts. Since 2012, Yakkety Yak has inspired action through storytelling. We are thrilled to now offer more advanced motion graphics and animation for our clients’ long- and short-form video needs. The expanded production team also allows us to produce elite documentary projects, commercials, fundraising videos and virtual events.
We can’t wait to see the magic that comes from melding our collective storytelling powers. If you’re interested in learning more about the partnership or how Yakkety Yak can help your organization reach its goals, contact us to learn more.
